Anna Nicole Smith died after what looks to be a casino bender, and, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Houston has a problem with crazy-jilted astronauts. I have very little to say about either of these stories, but since they feverishly consumed most of this week’s news cycles, here they are.

Same reason Gerald Ford suddenly became considered the greatest president since Lincoln, I guess. Slow news days and a lazy, sensationalist press.
Nearly one in 150 kids in American have autism, and The Today Show led with the death of a D-List celeb. Now that’s shocking.
Nearly one percent of our kids have something terribly wrong with them, and it’s Anna Nicole and a mentally ill astronaut. What a shameful commentary on our society.
