Caught Road to Perdition over the weekend, and I must say I’m with Stephanie Zacharek (thx, Missy) and David Edelstein on this one. Despite some truly excellent performances (Law, Newman, Tucci, Craig), I found the film ponderous and disappointing. Bleah.
Oh well.
Director Paul Anderson (Event Horizon, Mortal Kombat) is given the reins of Alien vs. Predator, which will no doubt make Jeunet’s outing in Alien: Resurrection look good.

Early casting rumors for Wolfgang Petersen’s Superman and Batman have Christian Bale as The Man of Steel and Paul Rudd as the Caped Crusader. Paul Rudd…That’s horrendous.
