Bryan Singer casts 17-year-old Vancouver resident Katie Stuart as Kitty Pryde in X-Men 2. Pretty good call to go with an unknown but, given that so much of Kitty’s backstory was used for Rogue in the first film, how will they differentiate her from Anna Paquin?

L’il bow wow.
Reports indicate that the Hulk’s origin in Ang Lee’s upcoming film has been seriously toyed with. I dunno…this sounds a bit too Spiderman to me.
About Frelling time.
Farscape’s fourth season begins tonight (Sci-Fi, 10pm). Last time, the crew had gone their separate ways, and Crichton was in the middle of nowhere, running out of air…
Swing and a Miss.
As if Daredevil’s Affleck-esque chin weren’t bad enough, it appears the makers of Daredevil have now turned the character of Elektra (Alias‘s Jennifer Garner) into a pissed-off Edie Brickell. Why all the leather? Where’s the red scarf headdress? She looks like she scampered off the set of Coyote Ugly.

Justice is blind.
Harry gets his hands on the teaser poster for Daredevil.
It’s not the years, honey, it’s the mileage.
After a decade of rumors and half-starts, Harrison Ford will finally don the fedora again for Indy 4, with Spielberg directing and Frank Darabont writing (from a story by, um, George Lucas). The movie’s currently due July 2005, a month after Episode III.
Futbol and Farscape.
As if all the aforementioned sports programming wasn’t enough for Friday entertainment, the 23-hour Farscape marathon begins at 7am tomorrow on Sci-Fi. As you can see, Roj Blake here is as evangelical about the show as I am, with good reason. Definitely worth a look-see if you’re not already tuning in.
Bamf!
Contrary to earlier reports about Ethan Embry, it looks like Cabaret alum Alan Cumming will play Nightcrawler in the X-Men sequel. Not what I imagined at all, but if he gets in shape he could be quite good.
