In the movie bin, Homer J. Simpson gets stuck between a rock (Iraq?) and a hard place in the trailer for The (long-awaited) Simpsons Movie; Edward Norton (brandishing a surprisingly lousy accent) and Naomi Watts struggle with a loveless marriage by way of W. Somerset Maugham in the trailer for The Painted Veil (also with Liev Schrieber, Toby Jones, and the always lovely Dame Diana Rigg); and Wilbur the pig picks up a “spin” doctor with a way with words in a new Internet-only teaser for Charlotte’s Web (Between Julia and Buscemi, it seems like the voice-work is going to be really distracting.)

maybe you want to slight naomi watts, or it’s in your subconscience, but you shouldn’t have mentioned edward norton (male, actor) before naomi watts (female, actress) because officially watts is the LEAD of this film. norton is 2nd listed. regards.
Yes, it’s true — my subconscious hates Naomi Watts. (She killed Kong!) Seriously, though, no slight intended. Actually, I was just trying to put more space between my two parentheticals (like the ellipsis, a writerly crutch I tend to overrely on.)
I have a serious addiction to the emdash, myself, although I do loves me a tasty parenthetical (with a side of semi-colons).
That being said, that Simpsons teaser was really not at all funny.
Semi-colons are foreign territory to me. I almost never use them (although I’m trying to get more in the habit — in this very post, for instance.)
Yeah, the Simpsons teaser didn’t realy move me either.
