Odd indeed how all the Jackson write-ups ignore all the gems he made before LotR. But I am looking forward to the Altman film, which (according to a recent issue of DV Magazine) really tried to use DV in a cinematic way (using Panavision lenses). Strangely enough, there’s been some backlash against it in the film community, claiming that the whole thing is a lark, a Neve Campbell comeback of the worst order. But, hell, this is Altman we’re talking about here.
