I wish I could read the article, it is coming up as “forbidden” when I click the link. Anyways, this “Clinton/Guliani” ticket everyone is trumpeting seems very unlikely to me. I believe the democrats would have a solid ticket if they had a Daschle/Guliani (that is if Daschle loses his majority status contingent upon this falls elections, if he retains it he might just stay in that comfy seat.) If not Daschle, my second choice would be Kerry. If not Kerry, I would like to give some props to the senior senator of my state Bob Graham. He has been chair of the intelligence committee, governor until he was termed out from 1980-1988 in florida, and he has hinting that he might make the run. If the pieces fall into place (Daschle retains “comfy” seat, Kerry is blasted as a war criminal in the primaries) then he might have a chance. Hey, don’t fret its unlikeliness….just look how those proverbial pieces fell for Nixon in ’68 LOOL!…or maybe, he helped some of those pieces fall :}
I think Rudy Guliani would be the best pick for PRESIDENT, let alone VICE PREZ. Look at what he did for NYC, not just during 9/11, but both his terms. He possesses all the attributes a great President needs. Decision-making, take no shit with the press,take no shit from anybody, and a genuine desire for a better America for Americans are just a few of them. Hell,I’m from Canada and I wish that I could become American just so I could work to get him on the ballot.
