As you can see, I tweaked the look of GitM last night after updating to Movable Type 2.62. (Most people have the Tempus Sans ITC font, right?) I tried to go for a lighter look, but then had trouble finding a color scheme where the links didn’t glow unnaturally. At any rate, let me know if you find this harder to read. Also, does anyone out there have any favorable recommendations and/or horror stories regarding Trackback?

I really like the new look! Good job.
As for Trackback, there was a good discussion a few weeks ago at my friend John’s site, with comments from MT users. Most people seem to think it isn’t worth it unless you’ve got a fairly high traffic site.
Damn. URL got stripped out. Here it is: http://soreeyes.org/archives/000220.html#000220
Sounds like everybody dislikes Trackback, up to and including Tom/Plasticbag, who pulls more traffic by an order of magnitude than lil’ ole GitM. I think I’ll keep it off for now. Thanks for the note and the heads-up.
Like the new look, although it’s a bit jarring to have the navbar on the right. Is that your revenge on us right-handed folks? 😉
Most people might not have Tempus Sans ITC installed for Internet Explorer, but that’s OK, ’cause Arial looks good too.
I like the new look. But, to be honest, the white text on the black background just seems so….old.
